CANDLE SAFETY & BURNING TIPS These instructions are meant for your safety as well as others while your candle is burning. If you use common sense and follow these basic instructions your candle experience should be safe and enjoyable! PLEASE! NEVER LEAVE A CANDLE BURNING UNATTENDED! Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each burning period. Burn for no longer than 5-7 hours. Keep candles free of wick trimmings, matches, or other foreign materials that could be a fire hazard. Keep candles away from drapery and other flammable objects. Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room and away drom drafts. Do not burn a candle too close to a wall. Always place candle on a protected, heat resistant, level surface. Keep children and pets away from a burning candle. Discontinue burning when 1/2 inch of wax remains in the bottom of the candle. Do not extinquish candles with water. Water can cause the hot wax to spatter and can cause glass containers to break.
